Thrummed Slipper Workshop
Thrummed Slipper Workshop
Thrumming is a traditional technique used to create super warm mittens in Newfoundland and Labrador. Every few stitches a tuft of unspun wool is worked into the stitch. This creates a cute exterior "heart" pattern, but the magic is on the inside, where the fluffy unspun wool creates a sheepskin like layer of coziness.
In this two session workshop, we will knit the Cadeautje pattern by Ysolda Teague! Your pattern purchase has been included in the workshop price.
